QUES 2:Amrita Devi Bishroi  sacrificed her life in saving the Khejari forests near Jodhpur in Rajasthan. What do you infer from this incident and what value of Amrita Devi is highlighted through this anecdote.
ANS: 1)A wise and mature person who has concern for nature can make such a great change in society. Therefore never doubt a group of commited  people cannot make a difference. It is actually they who have I made it.
2) The sacrificing nature and care for environment. 
QUES 3): The sun’s energy can be used to make electricity with solar cells. You may have a solar powered watch or calculation. There is a solar car launched in the market which just uses solar energy.
a)  Which equipment will the car need to change solar energy into movement?
b) What problems are there in using this type of energy?

QUES 4): Ramu lives in Chamba village and stopped people of his village to kill the frogs coming out during rainy season .Do you justify this act? Give consequences otherwise would happen to environment and us?

Q1 Kareena  Visited  Kaziranga   wild life  sanctuary and  appreciated  the  diverse  fauna  and  flora  dwelling  over  there.  She  observed  that  there  is fine  balance  between  various  component  of  ecosystem  and  each  organism  is playing  important  role  in  the  smooth  functioning  of this  system.  Explain  what  does  this  infer  and  what  lesson/values  do  you  draw  from  such  an  experience.

Ans - * Appreciate  the  beauty , harmony  and  equilibrium  of  nature.
         * Don’t  interfere , invade  or  disturb  the  components  of  nature.
         * Harness resources  without  tilting  balance.

Q2  Mahinder  Singh  Dhoni  conducted  a  Survey  to  find  the  change  in  fauna  and  flora  for  Ganga  water  and  discovered  that  there  is  step  decline  in  the  number  of  Gangetic  dolphins  found  there.  What  reasons  you  would  suggest  for  such  a  result .

Ans -  Ganga  water  has  been  immensely  polluted  due  to :-

          * Immenssion  of  idols  &  other  religious  items.
          * Fertilizers  used  in  excess.
          * Bathing  &  washing (Usage  of  detergents)

Q3  During  rainy  season  sonu  observed  many    Earthworms  appeared  on  his  backyard.  He picked  them  and  put  them  back  in  the  fields.  Do  you  justify  his  act  and  why ?

Ans – Putting  Earthworm  back  in  the  fields  prevented  them  from  dying.  This  helped  maintain  fertility  of  soil  and  balance  of  Nature .

Q4  Madhav  was  constantly  cpmlaining  about  abdominal  pain  &  appetite.  The  Doctor  asked  him  to  get  his  stool  test  done  and  discovered  Taenia  eggs  in  them.  What  could  you  think  the  reason  for  this  and  Which  values  are  needed  for  prevention  of  such  infestation.

Ans – Consumption  of  infected  pork

Q5  In order  to  study  dicotyledonous  Plant  teacher  asked  Katrina  to  bring  Mustard leaves , Flowers  &  seeds.  She  uprooted  several  plants  and  brought  in  the  class.   Is  this  according  to  you  the  right  way  to  doing  this  activity.  Justify  your  answer.

Ans. -  Katrina  could  have  brought  only  one  full  plant  to  demonstrate  instead  of  uprooting  so  many  saplings  . This  practice  shows  irresponsible  and  indifferent  attitude  of  Katrina  towards  environment .
