A Ventricles have to pump blood to the whole body with high pressure so they have thick wall.

Q2 Why is there no connection between left and right heart of human brain?

A The septum which separates right and left heart helps in prevention of mixing of oxygenated blood from oxygenated blood . This makes human beings more efficient in maintaining  body temperature.
