Fact 1. Covid-19 and SARS-CoV-2 are not the same thing. Covid-19 is a disease (D stands for disease) caused by a new coronavirus. SARS-CoV-2 is the name of the virus itself.
ReplyDeleteFact 2. CoV is short for CoronaVirus, Coronavirus. This is the name of the family of viruses (there are about 40 of them), which bear resemblance with the solar corona due to the spinous crests.
Fact 3. Coronaviruses are impostors from biology. The tailpiece of each spike “imitates” the molecule of a useful substance, so that the cellular receptors gladly pull it into themselves, and the whole virus is squeezed into the cell after the spike is in. This is how infection occurs.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. You may have side effects after vaccination, but these are normal. It typically takes two weeks after you are fully vaccinated for the body to build protection (immunity) against the virus that causes COVID-19. If you are not vaccinated, find a vaccine.

A vaccine is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular infectious disease. A vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism and is often made from weakened or killed forms of the microbe, its toxins, or one of its surface proteins.something about vaccine

In this darkest period. Eyes are still filled with hope and desire to dream big and bring a change in the society to help others. Covid-19 has divided us all, locked us up in a house but still it has taught us the value of family and love. It has taught us the value and importance of school and friends.
ReplyDeleteBe strong now because things will get better, It might be stormy but it can't rain forever.
Both vaccines and antibiotics provide strong protection against germs that cause infections. Vaccines strengthen your immune system so infections can't get started, whereas antibiotics help fight an infection that is already making you sick.
ReplyDelete2019 was the year when a pandemic was born. A viral infection highly contagious. That might had been limited to an epidemic as some theories mark up that China didn't informed other countries about it until it spread to other countries. Through its microscopic view it was clear that it had spikes on it and belonged to the family of Coronavirus. It was then named COVID-19. Its pace of spreading was truly high and was soon declared a pandemic by WHO. It is still concocting new forms but according to researches it has started weakening. Although till now there is no vaccine which can protect us from it forever, still it may perish soon.
ReplyDeleteQ.Do u think vaccine is good for covid 19?
ReplyDeleteAns. Vaccination may not provide 100 per cent protection, but it can reduce the risk of developing severe symptoms and cut down the risk of hospitalization and fatality. The second wave of the corona-virus, caused by the Delta variant, has proved that children are not the only carriers of the virus, as was believed earlier...
COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. You may have side effects after vaccination, but these are normal. It typically takes two weeks after you are fully vaccinated for the body to build protection (immunity) against the virus that causes COVID-19.
The pandemic has affected billions of people till now irrespective of their age groups. Now it has been residing in the world for 2-3 years. That might be the reason why the virus is spreading at a great pace and will reach its pinnacle soon. When it comes to controlling the spread, we have a vaccine but just to boost our immunity for a period of time. People who are infected by the virus and are vaccinated are surviving the virus and most of the people who couldn't are not vaccinated. Hence it is a good option to save many lives. But the researches and the surveys show that the vaccine is almost unable to protect people from the infection. People who possess robust immune system and are vaccinated, are not getting the virus. But those who have a bit low immunity and are vaccinated are getting infected by the virus and are acting as a source for virus to spread. This is the major drawback of the vaccine
ReplyDeleteGetting vaccinated against COVID-19 can lower your risk of getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. Vaccines can also help prevent serious illness and death.
ReplyDeleteAll steps have been taken to ensure that vaccines are safe and effective for people ages 5 years and older.
If you already had COVID-19, you should still get a COVID-19 vaccine for added protection.
When you are up to date on COVID-19 vaccination, you can resume many activities with proper precautions (e.g., mask wearing in indoor public spaces).

suggest COVID-19 vaccines become less effective at preventing infection or severe illness over time, especially for people ages 65 years and older. This is why booster shots are recommended for people ages 12 years and older who have completed their primary vaccination series. However, even as the vaccine’s ability to prevent infection decreases with time, COVID-19 vaccination continues to reduce the risk of hospitalization and death when people become infected with COVID-19.

1)COVID 19-vaccines are effective at preventing severe illness from COVID-19 and limiting the spread of the virus that causes it.
ReplyDelete2)Getting a COVID-19 vaccination is a safer and more dependable way to build immunity to COVID-19 than getting sick with COVID-19.
