Q1 What is property of DNA which allows it to pass information from one generation to the other ?

A DNA copying or DNA duplication is the property of DNA which allows genetic information to pass from one generation to the other .

Q2 Are the newly formed cells exact copy of the mother cell after mitosis or asexual reproduction ?

A No they are nit exact copies as no biochemical process is 100 % foolproof and there are minor errors happening during DNA duplication ,therefore newly formed cells or organisms as a result of asexual reproduction are very similar to the mother cell /or organism but are not exact copies.

Q3 If the somatic cell has 30 chromosomes ,find out the number of chromosomes present in
(a)reproductive or germ cell
(b)gamete
(c)Zygote

A3    (a) 30    diploid
          (b)15    haploid formed after meiosis
          (c)30     diploid  formed after fusion of gametes
