Optical Illusion 3

look at the spinning woman and if she is turning right your right side of your brain is working . If she is turning left your left side of your brain is working . If she turns both ways for you then you have a 160 or better IQ

Optical Illusion 2

You may not see it at first, but the white spaces read the word optical, the blue landscape reads the word illusion. Look again! Can you see why this painting is called an optical illusion?

Optical Illusion 1

Absolutely Phenomenal!

This is, without doubt, the BEST PC-related illusion,
I've come across.

1) Relax and lazily stare at the 4 tiny dots in the picture
below for at least 30 seconds.

2) Slowly shift your gaze from the screen to a wall near you.

3) You will see a circle of light formed on the wall.

4) Start blinking and continue till you see a figure within the circle.

5)  Whom do you see?
I tried this a couple of times, to Reconfirm...Man-o-Man........!

Tree plantation report

Jawaharlal Nehru once said,
“The wealth of the nation does not
lie in the banks of our country but it
lies in our schools”.
Therefore ,it is true that the children if in the schools are well informed and well prepared, country’s future is safe and secure. Towards achieving a clean and green environment for our  Gnext  Darbari Lal D.A.V Model School, ND- Block Pitampura, under the
aegis of  DAV College Managing Committee launched a tree plantation drive .
This event was a part of a mega event organized all over Delhi by Yuva  Arya Samaj in all  DAV institutions to generate awareness about conserving environment.
The day has been devoted to commemorate
the death anniversary of great illuminary and leader Shri G P Chopra (ex President DAV CMC)
It is rightly said, "Modern technology owes ecology an apology.”The utmost concern in today’s scenario is the lethal effects of technology on the metabolism of nature.
The modern technology has indeed harmed
the environment. For the sake of progress we mar the beauty of nature with perennial  scars.

As said by the Father of Nation,
“What ever we are doing to the nature is nothing but just a mirror reflection of what
we are doing to ourselves and to the others.”
To perceive this fact, the committed
people belonging to DAV fraternity have
taken the initiative to save the planet and as it is said, “The journey of thousand miles begins with a single step” we have under taken  this mammoth task of Tree Plantation by
planting trees and medicinal plants in and around our school premises .
The project also includes taking
pledge for saving the environment, skits, games and  Nature March .Our
school is deeply committed for this noble task and we are sure that
our endeveours  will help restore the glory of nature and make a better
tomorrow.

If we desire something most earnestly  , the whole universe conspires
in helping us achieve it.”

Id Mubaraq

Significance Of Eid
'Eid means recurring happiness or festivity. The 'Eid prayer is very important for all Muslims. It has the merits of the dory prayers, the effect of the weekly convention (Jumu'ah) and the characteristics of annual reunions between Muslims. There are two such 'Eids.
The first is called 'Eid-ul-Fitr (the Festival of Fast Breaking). It falls on the first day of Shawwaal, the tenth month of the Muslim year, following the month of Ramadhaan in which the Qur’aan was revealed and which is the month of fasting.
The second is called 'Eid-ul-Adh'haa (the Festival of sacrifice). It falls on the tenth day of Zil-Hijjah, the last month of the Muslim year.
The Islaamic 'Eids are unique in every way. To them there can be nothing similar in any other religion or any other socio-political system. Besides their highly spiritual and moral characteristics, they have matchless qualities:
Each 'Eid is a wholesome celebration of a remarkable achievement of the individual Muslim in the service of Allah.
The first 'Eid comes after an entire month of "absolute" fasting during the days of the month.
The second 'Eid marks the completion of Hajj to Makkah, a course in which the Muslim handsomely demonstrates his renouncement of the mundane concerns and hearkens only to the Eternal voice of Allah.

Ab To Mazhab Koi Aisa Bhi Chalaya Jaaye
Poetry on Brotherhood, Harmony and Integration

by Gopal Das Neeraj

Independence Day

Action  Matters

  • To look at  something is one thing
  • To be able to see what you look at is another
  • To understand what you see is third
  • To learn from what you understand is still something else
  • But to act on what you learn is all that really matters.

Supreme Court bans tourism in core areas of tiger reserves

To protect tigers, the Supreme Court on Tuesday banned all tourism activities in the core areas of the tiger reserve forests.
A Bench of Justices Swatanter Kumar and Ibrahim Kalifullah passed the order on a petition filed by conservationist Ajay Dubey that sought a directive to the States to notify the buffer and peripheral areas of the tiger reserves, under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, to prevent tourism in the core areas.
In April, the court heard senior counsel and amicus curie Raj Panjwani and asked Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Karnataka and Maharashtra to issue the notification. On Tuesday, the court was told that except Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Arunachal Pradesh, the other States had not filed affidavits and were yet to notify the core areas.
Wasim A. Qadri, counsel for the National Tiger Conservation Authority, which works under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, submitted the guidelines framed for ecotourism in and around the protected areas.
After hearing counsel for the States, the Bench said: “Why should tourism be allowed in core areas? Tigers are practically on the verge of extinction, whatever the statistics is.”
In its order, the Bench said: “Despite this court’s order on April 3, several States have not issued notification for buffer and core areas … During the course of the hearing, Jharkhand and Arunachal Pradesh have said they are ready with the notification, while the other States said they are attempting to do so.” (Rajasthan has already issued the notification.)
Giving three weeks — as the last opportunity — to those States that have not yet notified the core areas and filed affidavits, the Bench imposed Rs. 10,000 in costs on them.
“If affidavits are not filed by these States [by then], this court will initiate contempt action and impose costs [on them] up to Rs. 50,000. Affidavits will have to be filed within three weeks. No further time will be given. The [National] Tiger Conservation Authority has placed its recommendation of guidelines."
"We will take up the guidelines for final hearing, so that the Centre can issue a notification for fixing [the] area and utilisation of [the] buffer and core area.”
The Bench said: “We make it clear that till final directions of this court with reference to the … guidelines, the core areas … will not be used for tourism.” The court directed the matter to be listed for further hearing on August 22.
