Nutrition in plants @ class X when draw just section of leaf ,stomata has to be drawn
Photosynthesis
It is a process of making food with the help of carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll .
Steps
1 Absorption of light by chlorophyll
2 Conversion of solar energy into chemical energy and splitting of water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen
3 Reduction of carbon dioxide into glucose.
source of carbon dioxide is air coming from stomata
(diffusion) and water is soil (osmosis)
source of oxygen released after photosynthesis is splitting of waer .
Role of stomata
1 gaseous exchange
2 transpiration
opening and closing of stomata
The guard cells swell when water flows into them .similarly the guard cells shrink when water leaves them .Therefore opening and closing of stomata depents upon the turgidity of guard cells .

The nucleus is the control house of the cell and if it is removed the cell will have no information for performing any function and it would die.
