Swami Vivekananda had a very dynamic persona.
He was a man with great will power and determination. He had immense
faith in the youth of the country.
That’s why once; he had famously said that “If I get 10 or 12 boys
with the will power of NACHIKETA, I can change the perception
of the whole world.” He considered the entire world as a single unit and all
the people as his brothers and sisters. That’s why, in one of his lectures,
he has mentioned the phrase, “Brothers and sisters ofAmerica
Atman, our soul is immortal and it has the might of the entire universe
within it. His thinkings
were that we shouldn’t curb or condemn our old traditions; rather
we should try to remould them according to the time. He had also laid the emphasis
on Rajas i.e., activity. He believed that Rajas is the only and sole basis for the ladder of the success and he wanted everyone to live freely in this country. That’s why he had mentioned,
