Maharshi Dayanand did not initiate, declare or started any new sect. He simply shown the path used by the 'arsh' (of rishis) customs from Brahma to Jaimini. He only called for return to Vedas, the eternal knowledge for all humanbeings irrespctive of cast & creed, for welfare of whole universe- living or non-living.
